I’m a mental health practitioner and educator based in California, here to offer self-work support through my content and services.

I created Find Flow because I once needed something like this and couldn’t find it. I was stuck - locked in a struggle with things I didn’t know how to talk about because nobody around me talked about them. Thankfully I had the privilege to eventually access therapy. Receiving guidance in understanding my own trauma was a game changer. It gave me the ability to understand and communicate about what I was going through, and to make new choices - which created movement where I’d been convinced I’d stay stuck.

I am in flow when I get to empower others to change and heal through trauma work. I’m here to support you in understanding what your heart, mind, and body are trying to tell you when they don’t feel right. You deserve to shake loose from wherever you’re stuck, and to find out what keeps you flowing.

Professional Specializations, Experience, & Credentials

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who live with mental health symptoms caused by trauma, mood and anxiety disorders. I also specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ identities. My integrative practice draws from my experiences working with individuals across DSM-5 diagnoses and diverse settings, and across a blend of therapeutic approaches such that I adapt my skills to best collaborate with each unique client.

I’m based in Los Angeles and provide telehealth services to California residents through a group practice called Meridian Counseling. I’m a registered associate clinical social worker (which means that I am in the initial stage of the licensure process, working under a supervisor until I obtain independent licensure).

I practiced therapy in settings including residential treatment with at-risk adolescents in California, an outpatient community mental health clinic in Queens, New York, and in elementary school social work in Brooklyn, New York. Before practicing therapy, I worked in mental heath providing non-clinical support in residential treatment.

In my early 20s I worked in TV and film, which was my first effort to make a life out of my passion for unique human stories. That thankfully didn’t work out, because I got to experience the transformative power of releasing expectations and finding my flow through an experience that at first felt like failure.

Training and Education

I’ve obtained certifications in Brainspotting Phase 1, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and I have received trainings and attended conferences on a variety of clinical subjects including LGBTQ Affirmative Practice, Culturally Sensitive Practice, Working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Working with Trauma, Narrative Therapy, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (note: not yet certified to practice this), and OCD and Skin Picking Disorders.

In 2020 I obtained my Master of Social Work in NYC at the Columbia University School of Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice.

In 2014 I obtained my Bachelors from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
